Everton, Manchester United and Chelsea monitoring Duo
Everton, Manchester United and Chelsea had scouts at the recent game between Rennes and Saint-Etienne according to The Express.
The Premier League trio went with the intention of scouting left back Faouzi Ghoulam who is seen as a replacement at Manchester United for Patrice Evra or also at Everton should Leighton Baines make the short journey down the M62. During the game though, Rennes defensive midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko stood out and the clubs are also believed to be interested in him too.
22 year old Ghoulam is an Algerian international who has made over 64 appearanced for Saint-Etienne and has been linked to the likes of AC Milan and Liverpool. Manchester United are rumoured to be ready to bid for the player, but may test the water with Leighton Baines first.
Bakayoko is a 19 year old French junior international. He has only played a handful of games for Rennes, but performed admirably in front of the watching scouts and seemed to be one that came onto the radar.

The best position now is the striking option. Lukaku is a loanee. Jelavic misfiring, Arouna injured end season. Naismith down on pecking order. Never see Apotolos Vellios playing. Secondly is the aging Osman,Distin, Jagielka, Barry and Pienaar. Need to sort out.
