Norway Under-21 international Abdisalam Ibrahim has been handed a free transfer by Manchester City, according to reports.
Ibrahim had been highly-rated at the Etihad Stadium, with the 21-year-old being tipped to make the breakthrough into the first team.
However, Ibrahim has been told that he can leave City after the summer signing of Fernandinho. The player had only just extended his loan spell with Stromsgodset, but may now stay in England.
Half a dozen clubs are reported to be interested in Ibrahim, with Everton, Queens Park Rangers, Newcastle United,Fulham, Crystal Palace, Swansea City and Celtic all believed to be in contention for his signature.
