    Everton place bid for star striker

    Everton have placed a £3.6m bid for Cesena striker Gregoire Defrel according to Italian paper Gazetta Dello Sport.

    The 24 year old French Born striker scored 9 goals in 31 games for the Italians last season and can operate on the wing aswell as upfront

    West Bromwich Albion and Queens Park Rangers have also been linked with the striker, known for his impressive dribbling, but Everton have stolen the march and made the first move.

    Everton could look to replace winger Kevin Mirallas with Defrel with the Belgian looking likely to leave Goodison Park.
