    Everton placed on Dries Mertens Alert

    Everton are believed to be keeping tabs on Belgian playmaker Dries Mertens after the Napoli player admitted he could move to the Premier League.

    The 28 year old says that next summer could be the perfect time to move and that has placed Everton on alert according to the Liverpool Echo.

    “Therefore, I’ll think about what I want. The Premier League for example, is also a good competition. Who knows, I can still go there? My contract runs until 2018, and next summer maybe there are options,” said the Belgium international on his future.
