    Everton plan raid on Crystal Palace

    Everton are planning to make a loan move for Crystal Palace left-back Patrick Van Aanholt according to the Daily Mail.

    The 29 year old has twice played under Everton boss Sam Allardyce, when he managed at Sunderland and then signed him for Crystal Palace.

    Everton are badly lacking down the left hand side and Van Aanholt would provide a good attacking threat with Leighton Baines out long term.

    Palace are interested in signing Everton striker Oumar Niasse, but Allardyce has confirmed that the Senegal striker won’t be sold this window.

    Would Van Aanholt be a good signing for Everton?
