Everton prepare second bid for £10m rated defender
Everton are set to go back to Bolton Wanderers with a second bid for defender Rob Holding after seeing an initial bid turned down according to Talksport.
According to the report the highly-rated 20 year old defender is high on the list of targets that the club is bidding for but it could take a £10m bid to see the relegated Championship club sell.
The youngster has played 30 times for Wanderers this season and was voted the fans player of the year.
The Lancashire club don’t want to sell, but if a club reaches their valuation then they will get rid of their prized asset as they rebuild for life in league one.
Would Holding be a good signing for Everton?

As a Bolton fan who has seen him on several occasions all I can say is he very very good for such a young age. He really could be a class act in the future. Calmed composed reads the game well and has great distribution. I really wouldn’t want to see him go but I think the 10 mil rumoured price would be way off the mark. We’re in league 1 next year so my bet would be 5 mil max but he will be worth far more in the future. Reminds me of Gary Cahill when we signed him from villa but I honestly believe he could be much better. I hope we keep him as he’s got so much to offer yet and is still learning but if you did sign him you’d be getting a brilliant prospect for the future.
