Everton ready “imminent” bid for Rose
Everton are on the verge of a bid for French under 21 international defender Lindsay Rose according to French Football website Get French Football News reporting on LeSport 10.
The 22 year old defender plays for Valenciennes in Ligue 1 and has played for the France under 21 team on 3 occasions, having originally represented Mauritius due to family roots.
Rose has played 22 times for the French club scoring once and has been linked with a move to Lyon and Bordeaux, but Everton are set to bid on the player who is rumoured to be available at a cut price €1.8m, which Valenciennes are likely to accept following financial troubles.
Rose is one of the most promising central defenders in French football but looks destined to leave the troubled club.
