    Everton readying bid for midfielder

    Everton are readying a bid for Portugal international Raul Meireles according to Turkish sports site Fanatik.

    The former Liverpool player is free to leave Fenerbahce and according to the report Everton will launch €4m bid for the player.

    Meireles has also previously played for Chelsea and can leave the Turkish club as they are looking to trim the older players in their squad and at the ripe old age of 30, the Portugal star can leave.
