    Everton reject Brighton offer for Duffus

    Everton have today rejected an offer from Brighton and Hove Albion for young striker Courtney Duffus according to Press Association journalist Sean Taylor on twitter.

    The young striker was fresh from scoring for the under 23’s in their 3-1 victory against Manchester United and the promotion chasing seagulls have submitted a formal offer which was declined out of hand.

    The 6ft 2in 21 year old is rated as a prospect for the future by the Everton hierarchy and is needed for the under 23’s chase for the title.
