Everton running the eye over Fernando (again)
Everton sent scouts to run the rule over Brazilian midfielder Fernando in Porto’s recent Europa cup tie with Napoli according to reports in Portugal.
Portuguese newspaper O Bola states the Everton scouts were amongst a number of top European teams to watch the defensive midfielder who has been linked with Manchester United, Manchester City, Juventus and AC Milan.
Everton were close to signing Fernando in the summer but a deal broke down at the last minute. Fernando can leave on a free transfer in the summer as his contract expires which would be a major success for a player who would have cost £15m in the summer.
The 26 year old has played 29 times this season.

If it’s just a matter of wages,he is a possibility.
