Everton scouts watch Chelsea target score two goals
Everton scouts were in France at the weekend watching Valenciennes striker Abdul Majeed Waris score twice in his sides 3-2 loss at home to Ajaccio.
The 22 year old Ghanaian is on-loan from parent club Spartak Moscow and has scored 9 goals in 11 appearances for the French club in Ligue One.
Waris has played 9 times for his national side and scored 4 goals and is expected to make the Ghana world cup squad.
According to reports in France, scouts from Chelsea, Werder Bremen and Ajax Amsterdam were also in the stands of the Stade du Hainaut.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez is on the look out for a striker as the club only have 2 permanent first team strikers at the club and Romelu Lukaku and Lacina Traore will most likely leave the club once their loan spells end.
