Everton see £15m bid rejected for Ivory Coast International

Everton have had a £15m bid rejected for Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie according to a report in the Guardian.

The 20 year old Ivory Coast international is currently on international duty at the African Cup of Nations, but that hasn’t stopped Everton launching a bid.

Chelsea are still favourites to sign the midfielder in the summer as the Italians aren’t really willing to sell in January.

Kessie has scored 6 goals in 16 appearances for Atalanta this season following a season on loan at Cesena.
