    Everton set to battle Spurs & Valencia

    Everton are set for a transfer battle with Tottenham Hotspur and Valencia for last seasons brilliant loan signing Romelu Lukaku.

    The Chelsea striker could be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge as they prepare to welcome new signing Diego Costa to their side and the big Belgian is set to invoke a transfer battle between quite a few clubs.

    According to the Daily Star Everton, Spurs and Valencia lead the chase and Everton manager Roberto Martinez has already gone on record to say that he is willing to wait for his man as Chelsea are likely to sign other players after Costa.
