Everton set to move for new £2m football league striker
Everton could be set to move for Bolton Wanderers starlet Zach Clough as a move for Leeds Uniteds Sam Byram falls through according to newspaper reports.
Clough has been one of the highlights of the football league this season and due to their precarious financial position, Wanderers may need to cash in on their star asset.
Clough has been rated at around £2m and Bristol City recently saw a £2m bid accepted, but the player turned down the move.
Everton will be in the hunt for a new striker once they finalise Steven Naismiths move to Norwich City and Clough would fit within Roberto Martinez strategy of buying talented youngsters.
The 20 year old has scored 3 goals in a struggling Bolton team this season.
Would Clough be a good signing for Everton?
