    Everton set for transfer tussle for African star

    Everton are set to do battle for Nigerian World Cup star Ogenyi “Eddy” ONazi according to the Express.

    The 21 year old Lazio midfielder has been in outstanding form for his club and is being linked with a 3 way tussle between Everton, Liverpool and Southampton.  This isn’t the first time Onazi has been linked with Merseyside and throughout the January transfer window he was linked to both Everton and Liverpool and it is thought that his fee has risen to around £8m.

    Onazi played 41 times for Lazio last season, scored twice and was sent off once, he then went on to star for the Nigerians at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
