Everton set to wrap up Gylfi with player swap deal
Everton look set to seal a deal for Swansea City midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson this week by offering Callum Connelly as part of the package.
According to the Mirror, Connelly could be used as a make-weight in the deal to get it over the line following the rejection of a £40m +£5m add-ons deal.
19 year old Connolly excelled for England Under 19’s at the recent under 19’s World Cup as England lifted the trophy and many Evertonians were keen to see him as part of the squad this season.
Sigurdsson was left out of Swansea Citys friendly against Birmingham yesterday by boss Paul Clement as Sigurdsson looked to sort his future.
Will Sigurdsson be a good signing for Everton?
