Everton have made their fifth signing of the transfer window by swooping for Burnley’s Michael Keane, 24, for a deal worth £30m. The former Manchester United defender who has 2 England caps has signed a 5 year deal.
Manchester United had shown interest in bringing Keane back to the club but they opted to sign Victor Lindelof from Benfica instead
Keane becomes Everton’s fifth signing of the summer, joining Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen, Sandro Ramirez and Henry Onyekuru. Wayne Rooney and Olivier Giroud have also been linked with moves as more new faces are expected to join in the coming weeks.
Will Keane be a good signing for Everton?
