    Everton sign Serbian wonderkid Stefan Lukic

    Everton have signed Serbian midfielder Stefan Lukic from Partizan Belgrade for €50,000 according to MozartSport.

    It is expected that highly-rated Lukic will go on loan to Heerenveen straight away as he is unlikely to get a work permit in the UK.

    Barcelona, Chelsea, Benfica, Arsenal and Inter were all interested in the 18 year old and it is seen as a massive coup that the player has signed for Everton.

    Lukic has signed a 5 year deal and said: “They’re after me for a long time. When they realized I was definitely what they wanted , they called me and we quickly found common ground on the conditions. My agents are currently in England, details are now complete and it remains to be seen when I initial the contract”
