Everton and Southampton interested in Monaco striker

Everton are being linked with a move for AS Monaco striker Valere Germain according to French newspaper L’equipe.

The 26 year old striker has scored 9 goals for the Ligue 1 club this season and that has prompted the toffees and Southampton to show interest.

The striker only has 18 months left of his current deal and played under Southampton manager Claude Puel last season at Nice on loan.

Everton are reported to have had a bid accepted for Standard Liege striker Ishak Belfodil.
