Everton target Junior Malanda has walked out on his club Zulte Waregem. Malanda, who is building quite a reputation in Belgium as a potential star and was described as a revelation last season didn’t report back for pre season training and is reported by Belgium Outlet Demorgan.be as using the Belgian act 78 to be released from his contract.
Fulham had a bid rejected for the Belgium under 21 player in January and Malanda was reported to be unhappy with the £6m pricetag placed on him.
On their website Zulte Waregem wrote: “The club stresses that Malanda welcome remains and all will to do to join the player as soon as possible the group. SV Zulte Waregem has contacted the entourage of the player to get the rationale more clarity.”
Over the last month Malanda has repeatedly been linked with Everton, Arsenal and Spurs and his latest move is thought to be in the hands of solicitors.
