    Everton & Spurs chasing £5m league one star

    Everton and Spurs are set to do battle over league one star James Maddison according to a report in the Times.

    The 19 year old midfielder is the star player in the division and has been linked with a number of premier league clubs including Manchester City, Liverpool, Southampton and Newcastle United.

    The attacking midfielder has a contract until the summer of 2018 and has been likened to former MK Dons midfielder Dele Alli.

    Coventry are pushing for promotion this season and currently sit in 4th and have relied on Maddisons 2 goals and 3 assists in 10 appearances to help them climb the table.
