    Everton striker to join MK Dons

    Everton youngster Chris Long is to join MK Dons on loan as a replacement for prolific on-loan Chelsea youngster Patrick Bamford who has moved to Derby County.

    18 Year old Long is being sent out on loan with a view to gaining league experience and has scored five goals in eleven appearances for the Everton under 21’s this season.

    The England Under 20 player has joined fellow youngsters Shane Duffy, John Lundstram, Francisco Junior, Hallam Hope, Luke Garbutt and Matthew Pennington who are all on loan in different divisions at the moment.

    This seems to be a change of tact from the previous management at Everton, where very few players left the club on loan.

    The youngster will have a tough act to follow as Bamford scored 17 goals while at Milton Keynes but Chelsea wanted to try the youngster at a higher level.
