Everton submit opening offer for Serie A midfielder
Everton have submitted their opening offer for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, but have seen it rejected according to Croatian outlet Sportske Jutarnji.
According to the report Everton have seen a €18m bid rejected by the Italians as they hold out for closer to €20-25m.
The 24 year old Croatian midfielder has had a troubled time in Italy since signing in 2015, but has recently seen a return to form and fitness and signed a new contract until 2021 in December.
New Inter Milan boss Luciano Spalletti has given the greenlight for his sale and Koeman and Steve Walsh has decided he could be the man to provide productivity to the Everton midfield.
Everton have already signed Davy Klaassen and Jordan Pickford this summer and are on the verge of announcing Sandro Ramirez.
Would Brozovic be a good signing for Everton?
