Everton, Sunderland & Cardiff chase non-league star Kelle Roos
Everton are in the chase for a non-league star from Nuneaton Town according to Sky Sports.
According to the report Sunderland, Cardiff City and Coventry are all chasing Dutch goalkeeper Kelle Roos who only joined Nuneaton in November on a short term deal until the end of the season. The goalie who was a Dutch youth international was unable to join a football league club due to the transfer window being closed, so instead decided to join Nuneaton until the end of the season.
His agent Lee Payne of Full Contact told Sky Sports: “Kelle has done wonderfully well since coming to England, he has settled at Nuneaton and put in a number of very good performances.
“He has a great pedigree, and is thought of highly in Holland so I am not surprised to hear that there may be a lot of interest in him.”
The young goalie was previously on the books of PSV Eindhoven and NEW Nijmegan and kept 6 clean sheets in his first 6 games and 7 in 9 in all competitions leading to clubs from across the country to send scouts.
The 6ft 5 keeper has since impressed scouts and a number of teams are looking to sign him which would be a great boost to non-league football and in particular Nuneaton Town.
