Everton and Swansea agree £10m transfer – move close
Everton and Swansea City have agreed a £10m transfer fee for Wales star Ashley Williams according to the Daily Mirror.
According to the article Williams is set to agree terms to move to the blues over the last couple of days and Williams was a notable absentee from yesterdays friendly against Wolves.
The 31 year old Euro 2016 star is set to double his £2m per year contract and is set to further his profile after helping Wales to the semi finals of their first major tournament in 58 years.
The signing, while being a shrewd move, will hardly set Evertonians pulses racing and could signal the end of John Stones in an Everton shirt as he nears a move to Manchester City.
Will Williams be a good signing for Everton?

All the swans players that played in the euros have had extended leave. So saying he was a notable absence is rubbish.
Lazy journalism by the Mirror at best, all of Swansea’s Euro 2016 players are on a 3 week holiday and don’t start back for pre season until this week.
