    Everton table offer for 6ft 5in defender

    Everton have submitted a bid for Borussia Monchengladbach defender Jannik Vestergaard according to sports reporter Pete O’Rouke on twitter.

    The 6ft 5in Denmark centre-back was linked with a move to Everton back in 2015 and is now on their radar once again as they look to transform their backline.

    Southampton have also submitted an offer for the lanky defender who made 32 Bundesliga appearances for the Germans last season.

    Vestergaard is valued at around £15m and is currently at the World Cup with Denmark.
