    Everton in talks to sign German youth international

    Everton are in talks to sign Germany under 20 international Anton Donkor according to German outlet Sportbuzzer.de.

    Donkor has never played for the first team of his Bundesliga club VFL Wolfsburg and had been told that he probably wouldn’t make the first team and had been set for a permanent transfer to Aston Villa.

    Reportedly, Villa have now pulled out of talks and the report says that Donkor has travelled to Everton to hold talks over a possible loan move.

    Donkor had been playing for Wolfsburgs second team in the German lower leagues.
