    Everton target De Ligt and Martins according to reports

    Everton are targeting Sporting Lisbon winger Gelson Martins and Ajax defender Matthijs De Ligt according to a report in the Telegraph.

    Martins was one of a number of players that have cancelled their Sporting contracts this week following an attack by Ultras at their training ground.  He is currently away with the Portugal squad at the World Cup.

    Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have also shown an interest in the 23 year old, although if his contract is definitely cancelled then more teams will come to the party.

    De Ligt is a future star of the Netherlands team and is under super agent Mino Raiola.  The 18 year old could cost as much as £50m if the club get their wish.
