    Everton target France international defender transfer

    Everton will look to beat off competition from Arsenal in the summer for France international centre-back Loic Perrin from Saint-Etienne according to reports in France.

    The £8m rated defender has been called up to a number of France squads despite not making his full international debut yet and could be set to follow his manager Christophe Galtier out the door in the summer when he is set to leave his post.

    The 29 year old can also play in midfield and has been linked with a move to Arsenal as they look to strengthen their back-line.

    Le10Sport believes that Everton will make contact with the French club before the end of the season to try and sign the player who has made 26 appearances for his club this season.
