    Everton Target Ricardo Van Rhijn: It would be nice if they are interested

    Reported Everton target Ricardo Van Rhijn has insisted that he is currently happy with Ajax Amsterdam in Holland, but says that reported interest from Everton is nice.  Van Rhijn was linked with a move to Everton last week by Sky Sports reporter Pete O’Rourke but the young defender is quite happy if he doesn’t move.

    Speaking about speculation of Everton interest Van Rhijn told Amsterdam TV station AT5: “It’s everywhere in the news.

    “It would be nice if they are interested, but for now I am happy here in Amsterdam.”

    The 22 year old has played 15 times for Ajax this season scoring 2 goals and creating one goal and has also played for the full Netherlands team 7 times in his career.

    The Dutchman is out of contract in 18 months and Roberto Martinez is reported to be interested in the right-back who can also play at centre-back.
