    Everton targeting highly rated 6ft 4 Belgian defender

    Everton have been watching 6ft 4 Club Brugge defender Bjorn Engels according to Het Laatste Nieuws in Belgium.

    The 21 year old centre back has recently been called into the full Belgium squad following injury and the injury to Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany has strengthened his chances of a Euro 2016 place.

    Everton have has scouts at many Brugge matches this season according to the report and the feedback from the network has been very positive.

    Engels made 15 appearances for Brugge this season after making his comeback from injury in December and has scored twice.
