    Everton targeting Newcastle United youngster

    Everton are interested in making a move for Newcastle United youngster Sammy Ameobi according to the Liverpool Echo.

    The 23 year old is the younger brother of former Newcastle United striker Shola Ameobi and is out of contract at the end of this month.

    The 6ft 4 winger is also on the wanted list of West Bromwich Albion, Burnley and Brighton and Hove Albion.

    Ameobi has been offered a new contract by Newcastle but may want to leave in search of first team football.
