    Everton to bid €13m for Italy international “in coming hours”

    Everton are set to make a bid for Torinos winger come striker Alessio Cerci in the coming hours according to Italian Sports Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

    The Italy international is currently away with the Italian camp at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil but according to the website Everton will test the resolve of Torino with an opening bid of €13m.  The website does go on to say that this is likely to be turned down because the figure is too low and the player wants to stay with the club.

    Cerci has scored 21 times in 72 games for Torino and has played for his national team 12 times.  He scored 13 times last season and made an impressive 11 assists which was the most by any player in Serie A.
