Everton to launch £10m transfer deal
Everton are set to launch a £10m move for Chelsea striker Demba Ba after Chelsea look to recall Romelu Lukaku according to the Daily Mail.
Ba has been a bit part player for Chelsea this season but has a decent scoring record in the Premier League having scored 7 goals in 10 starts for West Ham and 29 in 51 for Newcastle United. Ba has still scored 7 goals in 16 starts for Chelsea and has scored high profile goals against Liverpool and Paris Saint Germain in recent weeks.
The report says that Everton manager Roberto Martinez has long been a fan of Ba but there have been fitness worries in the past and it’s very unlikely that Everton would spend £10m on a player who turns 29 later this month.
