Everton are interested in a transfer for Scottish wonderkid John Souttar.
The 17 year old Dundee United defender was wanted by Sunderland in the last transfer window and a £600k bid was lodged and accepted by the club, but the Tannadice defender turned down a move to concentrate on playing for the Scottish club.
The Scottish Daily Record broke the story and they say that Roberto Martinez had sent scouts to watch the youngster against Celtic on Saturday where the score finished 1-1.
QPR are also rumoured to be watching the Scotland Under 19 player, but according to the report, Everton are looking to bid around £1m to secure the player and would look to loan him back to the Scottish club.
