    Everton to sign Adriano?

    Everton manager Roberto Martinez is being linked with a move for versatile Brazilian defender Adriano according to Talksport.

    The Barcelona defender is being touted with a move away from the Nou Camp after hardly featuring for the Catalans and then missing out on a World Cup place with Brazil.  The Brazilian is keen to sort out his future sooner rather than later and plans talks with new manager Luis Enrique

    “I want to talk to the coach to set the record straight and leave the rumours behind if they are not true,” he told Menorca Daily

    “I want to start the season without having to focus on rumours about where I will or will not be going.”

    Adriano can play anywhere across the back four and this may prove a good move for Everton who are having to juggle Europa League football with the domestic season.
