Everton to sign “Son of God”?
Everton are once again being linked with a move for Sheffield Wednesday striker George Hirst as the young English strikers contract at the club nears to an end.
Hirst is our of contract this summer and a report in the Liverpool Echo once again states the clubs desire to bring the talented 6ft 3in striker to the club.
George is the son of former Sheffield Wednesday legend David and had earned the nickname “Son of God”, although with him likely to leave the club this summer that title could change.
The 19 year old has been prolific for his club in the younger age groups and also for his country and will be looking to try and achieve first team football as soon as he can. If signed by Everton he would begin his career in the under 23’s.
Would Hirst be a good signing for Everton?
