    Everton to spend €10m on 6ft 6in Jannick Vestergaard

    Everton will spend between €8m and €10m on Werder Bremen centre back Jannick Vestergaard according to German newspaper Bild.

    The 22 year old Danish centre-back could leave the financially stricken club as the Germans need to pay off some debts, even though he only signed from Hoffenheim in January for €2.5m.

    ‘Jannik is an interesting player for England. But that does not interest me,’ said Bremen sporting director Thomas Gauge.
    ‘We have not got him to give him away again.’

    The commanding centre-back has played 18 times for the 2 clubs this season scoring 2 goals, he has also represented Denmark twice.

    Vestergaard is 6ft 6in tall.
