    Everton to trial Gavin Whyte

    Everton are inviting young Northern Ireland hotshot Gavin Whyte over to Merseyside for a trial after impressing Everton scouts this season according to the Express.

    The 19 year old Crusaders striker was named Northern Irelands young player of the year at the weekend and now Everton are set to follow up their interest with a trial.

    Whyte came to prominence to Everton supporters and scouts following a hat-trick and assist in a 7-3 win over Glenavon and a host of Premier League clubs are interested in him.
