Sky Sports understands a number of Premier League sides are tracking Tunisian midfielder Mejdi Traoui.
Traoui is coming to the end of his contract with Esperance and could be available on a free transfer this summer.
The 29-year-old has a wealth of experience having represented Tunisia at three Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and also at the 2004 Olympics.
Esperance are keen to tie Traoui down to a new deal, but several clubs across Europe are ready to move for the player on a free transfer.
Everton and Southampton have both been credited with an interest in the versatile performer and the player’s agent, Jesse Learoyd-Hill, admits there is mounting interest in the African.
“There are a number of clubs both in the UK and in Europe who are interested in Mejdi,” Learoyd-Hill told Sky Sports.
“Mejdi is coming to the end of his contract at Esperance and he has not made a decision on his future as yet.”
