Everton want to sign son of former Sheffield Wednesday legend
Everton are looking to make a move for the son of former Sheffield Wednesday legend David Hirst according to the Liverpool Echo.
17 year old George Hirst is one of the highest rated young strikers in the lower league and is currently playing for Sheffield Wednesday under 23’s coached by former blue Danny Cadamarteri.
The young striker has scored 22 goals in 30 appearances for the Owls youth teams and made his league debut last month against Reading.
Wednesday are under no pressure to sell with owner Dejphon Chansiri bankrolling the club.
Would Hirst be a good signing for Everton?
