    Everton, West Ham & Newcastle eyeing Romao

    Everton, West Ham and Newcastle are all interested in the signing of Marseille midfielder Alaixys Romao according to the Daily Mail

    The Togo international is believed to be interesting all 3 clubs although West Ham are thought to have sent representatives to watch him play in Marseilles 3-2 win over Montpellier.

    The 30 year old Togo international has been in impressive form in Ligue 1 this season and combines a tough tackling defensive midfield stance with some footballing nouse that helped his team play in the Champions League last season.

    Romao has played 38 times for the French club this season and has 2 years left on his contract although the report claims that he would welcome a move to the Premier League.
