Everton will have to wait until the summer to sign Finnbogason
Everton have been told by the agent of Alfred Finnbogason that they will have to wait until the end of the season before they sign Icelandic striker, but that may change if a club puts in an offer to his club.
The Heerenveen striker is in tremendous form again this season and has scored 17 goals this season after scoring 24 goals in only 23 in the Dutch league last season. Finnbogason is out of contract in 18 months and has been linked with a number of clubs including Roma, AC Milan, Villarreal, Celtic and West Ham.
His agent Kees Ploegsma said: “We have had contact from many teams for Alfred.
“I think in June he will make the move. At this moment no team has spoken directly with Heerenveen.
“We have spoken to the Roma technical director, Walter Sabatini. But we spoke about many subjects not just Alfred.”
Everton boss Roberto Martinez is keen to get a striker that would settle straight into the Premier League should Nikica Jelavic leave the club in January.

We should snap him up now Roberto! He is a goal machine! He is the 1 ex striker who didn’t get bought in the summer, let’s not miss the boat, he would push us into the CL.
