According to Dutch football writer Stefan Coerts, Everton will move again for Leroy Fer in the summer.
Two things have changed since the failure of the January signing. Firstly, FC Twente have already agreed a deal to take Arsenal youngster Kyle Ebecilio in the summer, which means that Everton can now change the deal if they are worried about the historical knee problem. Another thing that has improved the situation is that Dutchman Fer has played a number of 90 minute games since January with no signs of injury.
Everton were looking to recruit a midfielder in January for extra options, but will now be even more desperate as both Phil Neville and Thomas Hitzlsperger will be leaving.
