Lundstram joins Yeovil on One Month Loan
Everton youngster John Lundstram has joined fellow toffee Shane Duffy on a short term loan at Yeovil Town until January 1st.
Combative midfielder Lundstram spent 3 months of last season on loan at Doncaster Rovers and received rave reviews from the Doncaster management team and supporters.
Lundstram believes that the move will provide him with the opportunity to play first-team football.
“I really enjoyed my loan spell at Doncaster last season and now is probably the right time to go back out and play some competitive football again,” he told Everton’s official website.
“It’s a chance to step up and play in the Championship, so I’m really excited and I’ll look to build on the experience I got last season.”
John has represented England at Under 17, Under 18, Under 19 and Under 20 level scoring two goals for his country.
Glovers boss Gary Johnson said “Everton have watched all our games this season with Shane Duffy being on loan here. They are more than happy for us to take John on loan and we are delighted to welcome him here to Huish Park.
