Everton youngster Tyias Browning set to join Wigan Athletic on loan
Everton youngster Tyias Browning is set to join Roberto Martinez former club Wigan Athletic on-loan.
The highly-rated right-back (who can also play centre-back) is well thought of at the club and joins a host of other Everton youngsters to go out to other Football league clubs for experience. The deal isn’t completed yet, but it is expected to be sorted within the next 48 hours.
SkySports have confirmed Wigan Athletics interest in a player that Everton coach Alan Stubbs described as one of the best one to one defenders at the club.
Will join fellow Everton youngsters Shane Duffy, John Lundstram, Hallam Hope, Matthew Kennedy, Matthew Pennington, Chris Long, Franciso Junior and Luke Garbutt on loan at other clubs
What do you make of the decisions to send out highly rated youngsters off on loan to football league clubs? Will this hinder or help their progress? Have your say at www.theevertonforum.com
I don’t see a problem sending youth players out on loan, it gives them an opportunity to gain valuable first team experience
