    German Reports: Everton are signing Carlos Bacca

    Reports in German newspaper Bild are claiming that Everton have signed Seville striker Carlos Bacca who will replace the Columbian with Arsenal’s Lucas Podolski.

    Podolski posted on his official twitter page “Road to Seville FC” before promptly deleting the tweet which has led the German news outlet to run with the story.

    27 year old Bacca was in sensational form last season scoring 14 goals in 27 starts for the Spanish club.  Bacca was also part of a brilliant Columbia team at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.  The expected fee for the striker is anywhere between £10m and £14m.
