    Gibson and Oviedo Sunderland medicals booked in

    Everton paid Darron Gibson and Bryan Oviedo are set to join Everton II as they prepare for medicals at Sunderland.

    Respected journalist Paul Joyce confirmed on twitter that the pair are set to travel to Sunderland today with a view to permanent deals.

    Gibson has played only 17 games in 4 years at Everton but Sunderland manager David Moyes knows that if he can get the Irishman fit then he has a good player on his hands.

    Oviedo has always been in and out of the Everton team and will hope to get a good run of games at Sunderland.
