    Hull City have had a bid for Nikica Jelavic accepted. It was revealed on Friday night that Everton had given Hull permission for the Croatian Striker to start talks with Steve Bruce’s side.

    It has been clear all window that if a fee that is acceptable to Martinez and Everton came in then he could leave, with World Cup football on his mind.

    Jelavic started off brilliantly with the Blues, scoring 12 goals in double quick time. However, since then he has fallen massively and scored only 2 goals in 13 games for club and country this season.

    The fee is thought to be around 5.25 million which is .25 less than Everton originally paid for his services from debt ridden Rangers.

    It is unsure when the move will be formally completed but Saturday seems most likely.

    1. For me – a great pity. If this is what he wants – especially with the strength of Everton now and the fact the World Cup is around the corner – fair play and good luck. BUT I took to him and am disappointed.
