    Italian media claim Everton in El Shaarawy enquiry

    Everton have made an enquiry about the availability of AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy according to Italian sports news outlet Sport Mediaset.

    The 22 year old striker is being seen as a replacement for Samuel Eto’o who has joined Sampdoria and despite interest from Torino and Roma, Everton have enquired into signing El Shaarawy.

    The Italian international has only played 11 times this season scoring once and with AC Milan making a number of signings his outings may be limited.

    El Shaarawy has played 10 times for Italy scoring once but is seen as a really good prospect for the future.
